Who is Blair Lee?
About the Host: Blair Lee
Faith Journey
I became a Christian in 1997, growing up in Lewisville, Texas, as the first believer in my immediate family. Like any excited new convert, I went in guns blazing with some immature, full-on frontal attacks to share my faith with my family—methods that, unsurprisingly, fell flat. But God graciously had other plans. My brother, sister, and mother came to faith shortly after through means I had nothing to do with. This experience sparked my lifelong passion for sharing the gospel and making disciples.
How I Ended Up in Germany
In 2000, my life took a major turn. I met my future wife, Sylvia, at the Vancouver Airport after attending a L'Abri Conference with a close friend. By 2001, I was on a mission, moving to Germany to win her over and convince her to marry me. Thankfully, it worked, and we've been living in Germany ever since. Over the years, we've been discipled by missionaries, learning how to be a family dedicated to the Great Commission.
Academic Background
I earned a Master of Arts in Biblical Interpretation (Hermeneutics) from the London School of Theology, where I developed a deep appreciation for handling Scripture with care and reverence. Before that, I completed a Bachelor of Science in Philosophy and Religion from Dallas Baptist University. A key influence in shaping my understanding of a biblical worldview was Dr. David K. Naugle, the author of Worldview: The History of a Concept. His mentorship was transformative, showing me how a biblical worldview impacts every aspect of life.
Life in Germany
Hamburg, Germany, has been my home for over two decades. I live here with my incredible wife, Sylvia, and our three daughters. Living abroad has opened my eyes to new perspectives and deepened my passion for connecting with global Christian communities.
Diverse Interests
I have a broad range of interests that enrich the conversations on BibleWorthy:
- Theology

- Philosophy
This variety keeps things interesting, as I explore how biblical wisdom intersects with our everyday lives and the world around us.
